Dalby Moto and Craig Hartley has had a long association with dirt bike riding in Queensland and Australia, in the last 26 years Craig and members of the Dalby Moto team have competed in 1, 2 and four day race events as well as a few Australian Safaris, and in the last 16 years have also put a heavy focus on promoting trail ride events in South Queensland.

Regardless of whether it's finding the right bike for your child, selecting your first bike, setting up a bike for a specialised event be it for an adventure ride, trail riding or racing, the team at Dalby Moto pride themselves on putting you not only on the right off road motorcycle but making sure that the bike is set up in a way that makes it enjoyable and safe to ride, and also so you can get the very best out of what the bike has to offer.

This specialised treatment runs into all areas of the shop, from your first communication with the sales department to spare parts and accessories and finally into the workshop where your new or used pride and joy will be assembled or rejuvenated and serviced to a high standard before you collect it.

Even though the modern trail/competition bike is a beautifully crafted machine straight from the factory there are still a lot of little things that will make the bike far more comfortable and suitable for your body size and ride requirements, a quick example is if you are over 5 foot 10”, a set of bar rises and possibly lower foot pegs can make the bike tailor-made to suit you, which relates to a motorcycle that is more comfortable and less fatiguing so you can enjoy a ride for longer distance and hours.

This is only one of the small things we can tell you for the approximate 55 new bike models we sell for off-road riding and countless more models available in the second-hand motorcycle market, don't forget that all of these things relate to every second-hand motorbike that you purchase.

I lot of work and bike setup that we do can relate to bikes used by women and children, beginner riders and experts and applies in many cases to all bikes being used for novice trial riding, experienced trail riding, racing and short and long adventure rides as well as the bikes used in agricultural work.

Dalby Moto has long been recognised as a leader in helping to promote places for people to go riding and this is especially so when it comes to the 18 Trail rides currently on our Trail Rides list elsewhere on the site.

Our finance and insurance department can help you get in to a new or used bike without the hassle of having to chase up banks or brokers.

By simply looking at our trail ride section you can see all of the trail ride dates laid out for the year, and if you register your e-mail address we will send you out the current information sheet a couple of weeks before each trail ride.

Franco Ambrosio on Dalby Moto :

For fear of adding another email to your inbox, it must be said that you're an exceptional human being.
I must be one of thousands upon thousands of customers/riders demanding your time/expertise and you have never failed to deliver:

(1)discussing my dream 690 setup for hours in person at your shop and the bike show as well as by phone/email;

(2)spending your day off seeing if the 950SE tank would fit the 690R frame without my even having bought the bike yet;

(3)delivering my 690 in the middle of the night all the way from Dalby gratis then still giving me a complete handover;

(4)sorting out my warranty claim pronto;

(5)giving me an awesome itinerary to Barossa via Wilpena I wouldn't have otherwise tried.

I'll say it again: Dalby Moto is the very best!
